Traditions Vortek Strikerfire Features The Traditions Vortek Strikerfire eliminates the external hammer found on traditional muzzleloaders allowing for a faster lock time and the ability to mount a scope closer to the bore for improved cheek weld. The upgraded VAPR barrel features a 1:24 inch twist rate that better stabilizes a broader range of bullet styles and weights than earlier Strikerfire models. A one piece Accelerator Breech Plug and Dual Safety System bring proven reliability to ignition while the Speed Load System simplifies loading in the field. Included is a factory mounted 3-9x40 scope with a Duplex reticle ready to zero out of the box. The TAC2 two stage competition style trigger system represents a genuine upgrade over triggers typically found on other muzzleloaders giving hunters a crisper more predictable break for improved shot placement. A Quick-T Ramrod Handle functions like both a palm saver and t-handle making loading and cleaning noticeably more comfortable during use. Finished in Desert Web Cerakote over a tapered and fluted barrel the rifle offers both a rugged weather resistant coating and reduced weight for easier carry. Designed to reach out past 200 yards with confidence the Vortek Strikerfire delivers a genuinely modern muzzleloader hunting experience.
