Thompson Center Encore ProHunter Frame Features The Thompson Center Encore ProHunter is built around an external hammer firing system with an automatic hammer block safety giving hunters a straightforward reliable ignition system in the field. The stainless steel frame construction resists corrosion from weather and repeated handling holding up well across long muzzleloader seasons in wet or humid climates. A trigger adjustable for overtravel lets shooters tune the feel of the break to their preference and wide grooves cut into the hammer spur make cocking easier with cold or gloved hands. Being drilled and tapped for optics the frame is ready to accept a scope mount for hunters who want a magnified sight on their muzzleloader setup. Wrapped in Mossy Oak Bottomland FlexTech camouflage the stock finish helps the Encore ProHunter Frame blend into timber and brush during late-season hunts. A black rubber recoil pad absorbs felt recoil from heavier muzzleloader loads keeping repeated shots more comfortable at the bench or in the field. The frame ships with a cable trigger lock for secure storage and transport between hunts. Because the Encore system swaps barrels in about two minutes with two screws this ProHunter Frame gives hunters a single dependable action that can be configured for muzzleloader centerfire or shotgun barrels as their needs change.
