"Men's Topo® Vista: If you want serious cushioning for technical trail running without carrying a heavy shoe, the Men's Topo Athletic Vista is worth a close look. This max-cushioned trail running shoe pairs a ZipFoam™ midsole with a rocker geometry that smooths out rough, uneven ground and keeps your stride moving through heel-to-toe transitions. At 10.9 ounces with a 5 mm heel-to-toe drop, it sits in a sweet spot for trail runners who want protection underfoot without feeling like they're hauling extra weight up the climb. The tightly woven mesh upper handles rugged terrain while staying breathable mile after mile. The FKT insole provides a secure, responsive feel underfoot and drains quickly, which matters when you're crossing wet ground or running through mud. Underneath, the Vibram® Megagrip outsole with 4 mm lugs grips confidently on rock, wet roots, and steep or technical sections where traction makes the difference. The rocker midsole keeps things rolling smoothly even when the trail gets unpredictable, so you can stay focused on the run rather than the ground beneath you.Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on a rocky, rooty trail and was surprised how cushioned they felt without making me feel disconnected from the ground. The Vibram outsole held up on wet rock better than I expected, and the rocker kept my stride from feeling choppy on the technical sections. For trail runners who want that max-cushion feel but don't want to give up grip or agility, this one really delivers."" - Sean, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Chula Vista, CAWho It's Best ForIf you run technical trails and want maximum cushioning without sacrificing traction or adding noticeable weight, the Vista is a strong fit.
