TekMat Armorers Bench Mat Features The TekMat Armorers Bench Mat is built from neoprene a material chosen for its cushioning properties that protect both firearm finishes and workbench surfaces from scratches and dents during maintenance. At 15 by 44 inches the mat offers substantially more workspace than a standard cleaning mat giving armorers room to spread out a disassembled rifle or multiple pistols at once without crowding. This extra length is especially useful when working on long guns that need to be laid out fully during cleaning or repair. The non-slip backing keeps the mat anchored to the bench preventing it from sliding around while tools and parts are in motion. Finished in black and white the mat s printed surface adds a clean functional look to any gunsmithing bench or work area. Because it is machine washable cleaning solvents oils and debris that accumulate during regular use can be rinsed away without degrading the material over time. This durability makes the mat a long-term investment rather than a disposable bench cover that wears out quickly. For hobbyists armorers and serious shooters who maintain their own firearms this oversized TekMat bench mat is a practical upgrade to any cleaning station.
