TekMat Long Gun Cleaning Mat Features The TekMat Long Gun Cleaning Mat is built from a soft waterproof polyester surface that shields the rifle s finish and the bench beneath it from oils solvents and cleaning chemicals. Cleanup is simple since the surface can be lightly scrubbed with soapy water and rinsed clean keeping the mat looking new after repeated use. A non-slip backing anchors the mat firmly in place giving a stable surface for precise disassembly and reassembly tasks. At 12 by 36 inches the mat is sized to handle an M14 or M1A s major components without crowding the workspace. Lightweight and easy to roll up the mat stores compactly with other cleaning supplies and travels well to the range or a gunsmithing bench. Its durable construction is designed to hold up over years of regular maintenance sessions without cracking or fading. TekMat s long gun mats are built specifically with rifle owners in mind offering a dedicated cleaning surface rather than relying on a generic towel or cardboard. For M14 and M1A owners who value a clean organized maintenance routine this mat is a simple and effective addition to the toolkit.
