Taran Tactical Innovation Magazine Base Pad Kit Features The Taran Tactical Innovations Firepower Base Pad Kit is designed to work with the stock magazine spring on full-size Smith and Wesson M&P pistols boosting capacity to 21+1 rounds of 9mm or 17+1 rounds of .40 S&W. The kit includes a stronger spring rated 10 percent over stock to maintain reliable feeding with the added capacity and the added weight at the base of the magazine helps it drop free cleanly for faster reloads under time pressure. Measuring 1.5 inches on the front side and 1 inch on the back the pad is sized to the USPSA 140mm gauge keeping it legal for Production Division competition. The one-piece CNC machined billet aluminum design means there are no small parts to lose when disassembling for cleaning or maintenance. A hard anodized finish protects the aluminum pad through repeated use on the range or in competition and the patented push pin attachment lets shooters install or remove it without any specialty tools. This kit fits any full-size M&P pistol but does not work on the Compact Competitor or Metal Series models so shooters should confirm their frame before ordering. Used and endorsed by multi-time World and National Champions Jerry Miculek Team Miculek and Julie Golob the Firepower Base Pad Kit brings proven competition hardware to any M&P shooter looking for a meaningful capacity and reload speed upgrade.
