Taran Tactical Innovation 308 Pmag Base Pad Features The Taran Tactical 308 Pmag Base Pad is machined from billet aluminum and finished in a hard anodized titanium gray coating that holds up to repeated handling and hard use. Designed to work with the magazine s stock spring the pad requires no additional springs or specialty tools to install with the shooter simply popping off the factory insert at the bottom of the spring and follower before sliding the extension into place. This base pad extends a PMAG20 to 25+1 rounds and a PMAG25 to 31+1 rounds giving shooters meaningfully more capacity from magazines they already own. The added weight at the base also helps the magazine drop free more reliably during a reload. Taran Tactical Innovations designed the pad s length to add minimal bulk keeping the extension usable even when shooting from a prone position where a longer magazine could otherwise interfere with the ground. The one piece push pin design means there are no loose components to track down during disassembly or maintenance. Built and hard anodized in the USA this base pad reflects Taran Tactical s reputation for competition-proven magazine accessories. Shooters looking to add real capacity to their PMAG-fed rifles can find the Taran Tactical 308 Pmag Base Pad available for sale at GrabAGun.
