Streamlight Sidewinder X UC Features The Streamlight Sidewinder X UC puts out 275 lumens on its white LED high setting a significant jump over the original Sidewinder s 55 lumen output while dropping down to 5 lumens on low for close range tasks without ruining night vision. Beyond white light the unit is equipped with red green and blue colored LEDs plus an IR or IFF LED letting the operator switch lighting modes to suit map reading covert movement or signaling needs. A multi function push button and a rotary mode selector switch make cycling between these outputs straightforward even while wearing gloves. The housing s 185 degree tilting head lets the beam be aimed independently of head position once mounted. Built from high impact polymers the Sidewinder X UC is IPX7 waterproof rated and houses its batteries in a hinged compartment for quick field changes. It runs on two AA alkaline batteries included with the light or a single 3 volt CR123A for a more compact power option. At 4.65 inches long and 4.4 ounces it mounts cleanly to existing Sidewinder helmet mounts and compatible adapters for fully hands free use. Finished in Coyote Tan the Streamlight Sidewinder X UC is a durable versatile hands free light for sale at GrabAGun.
