Streamlight Sidewinder X Aviation Features The Streamlight Sidewinder X Aviation delivers 275 lumens on its high white LED setting and 5 lumens on low giving operators a wide range of brightness for everything from close-up tasks to longer-range illumination. Colored LEDs in red green and blue along with a dedicated IR/IFF LED allow the light to be used for stealth movement map reading and covert signaling without compromising night vision. A rotary mode selector switch and multi-function push button make it fast to cycle between light colors and brightness levels even while wearing gloves. The light runs on two AA alkaline batteries included or a single 3-volt CR123A battery for flexible power options in the field. Built from high impact polymers and rated IPX7 waterproof the Sidewinder X Aviation is designed to survive rough handling and wet conditions without failing. Its 185 degree head-to-aim beam lets users angle the beam without repositioning the whole light and a hinged battery compartment makes reloading batteries quick in low-light conditions. The light fits existing Sidewinder helmet mounts and other adapters for seamless hands-free integration and it ships with an included MOLLE retainer for mounting directly to gear and Picatinny rail systems. Compact and lightweight at 4.4 ounces this light is a dependable choice for aviation tactical and outdoor use.
