Streamlight Sidewinder Compact III Features The Streamlight Sidewinder Compact III delivers 275 lumens on its high white light setting with a 113 meter beam distance giving users enough throw for navigating terrain or scanning an area at night. Dropping down to the 5 lumen low setting switches the light into survival mode stretching runtime past 100 hours so it can last through extended field operations. Beyond the white LED the head is user configurable with an IR LED plus a choice of green blue or red LEDs and each of those colors offers 4 brightness levels along with a strobe option. That range of outputs lets one light cover night vision compatible operations map reading and signaling without carrying multiple tools. Finished in Coyote Tan the Sidewinder Compact III is built from high-impact super-tough nylon that stands up to IPX7 waterproof submersion to 1 meter for 30 minutes and has been tested against 3 meter impacts. It ships with a hook and loop mount and is compatible with existing Sidewinder mounts and accessories so it can move between a helmet a MOLLE panel or another compatible setup as the mission demands. A 185 degree tilting body lets the user angle the beam without adjusting the mount itself keeping the light aimed exactly where it is needed. Running on one AA alkaline or CR123A lithium battery with both included the Sidewinder Compact III is a dependable field ready light for anyone who needs hands-free illumination in demanding conditions.
