Rio Ammunition Star Team Features The Rio Star Team load is built in 12 gauge with a 2.75 inch hull designed to deliver reliable cycling and consistent ignition through a wide range of shotguns. A 1 ounce payload of number 8 lead shot provides a shot pattern well suited to clay target disciplines and other applications where moderate shot sizes are preferred. Launched at 1200 feet per second this load offers the kind of brisk velocity that helps break targets cleanly while maintaining manageable recoil through a long session. Consistent quality control in loading helps ensure each shell performs reliably from the first round to the last. This listing covers a 250 round case giving dedicated clay shooters and upland hunters a substantial supply without needing to restock mid-season. Buying in this quantity makes practical sense for shooters who put significant rounds through their shotgun on a regular basis. Rio has built a strong reputation in the shotshell market for consistent dependable ammunition at a competitive price point.
