Rio Ammunition Star Team Evo Features The Rio Star Team Evo shotshell is manufactured with Rio s own proprietary selection of components chosen specifically to deliver consistent performance for top level competitive shooting. Each 2.75 inch shell is loaded with a 1 ounce payload of #8.5 shot a size favored by sporting clays and trap shooters for its dense even pattern at typical target distances. The 1250 feet per second velocity gives a flat trajectory and the energy needed to reliably break clay targets. Rio s exacting quality controls throughout the manufacturing process help ensure that every shell in the box performs consistently round after round. This load represents the result of Rio s ongoing research and development efforts aimed at competitive sports shooting where consistency can make the difference in a tight match. The 1 ounce shot charge strikes a balance between recoil management and pattern density helping shooters stay comfortable through long strings of targets during a competition day. Packaged in a 25-round box the Star Team Evo gives shooters a manageable supply to bring to the range or a match without excess bulk. Rio Star Team Evo 12 gauge shells are available for sale at GrabAGun for competitive clay target shooters seeking a proven top tier cartridge.
