Rio Star Team Features The Rio Star Team is engineered as a dedicated target load pairing a 1-1/8 ounce charge of #7.5 lead shot with a 1150 feet per second velocity to produce a flat even pattern that clay shooters can rely on round after round. This combination of shot size and speed is tuned to break targets consistently without punishing the shooter with excess recoil which matters over the course of a long practice session or a full tournament day. The 2.75 inch shell length keeps the load compatible with the vast majority of 12 gauge shotguns used on the range from pump actions to semi-automatics to break actions. Shooters can count on uniform performance from the first shell to the last in the case. Rio built the Star Team line around volume shooting and the 250-round case format reflects that focus by giving shooters and clubs a bulk supply without constant reordering. The lead shot construction is chosen for its consistent density and patterning behavior which helps deliver the kind of repeatable performance serious shooters expect from a dedicated training load. Rio s long history in shotshell manufacturing brings a level of quality control to each shell that shooters can trust when they are burning through cases on a regular basis. For anyone stocking up for a season of practice or competition the Star Team offers a straightforward dependable option ready for sale at GrabAGun.
