Rio Royal Pheasant Copper Features The Rio Royal Pheasant Copper in 20 gauge delivers 1-1/4 oz of copper-plated lead #5 shot from a 3-inch 20-gauge high-brass hull at 1 250 fps for authoritative field performance on pheasants and large upland birds from the lighter more manageable 20-gauge platform. Copper plating hardens each pellet significantly reducing deformation under the pressure of ignition and through the choke column which sustains higher individual pellet velocities and tighter more uniform patterns at longer distances. High-brass construction provides the structural integrity needed for this heavy full-magnum 20-gauge payload while the 209 primer delivers reliable ignition in cold and wet field conditions. The Royal Pheasant Copper is specifically engineered to give 20-gauge hunters the reach and penetration of a copper-plated hunting load without requiring a step up to 12 gauge. The #5 copper-plated charge patterns effectively through modified and full chokes giving hunters consistent predictable performance when birds are flushing wild and shots require maximum effective range. For pheasant hunters who prefer the handling dynamics of the 20 gauge and need a load that delivers at all ranges the Rio Royal Pheasant Copper 20 GA is available in a 25-round box for sale at GrabAGun.
