Rio Ammunition Star Team EVO Features The Rio Ammunition Star Team EVO load carries a full 1-1/8 oz payload of #7.5 lead shot at a muzzle velocity of 1250 fps engineered to deliver the consistent patterns competitive shooters rely on. Rio manufactures this shell with its own proprietary selection of components rather than off-the-shelf parts giving the load a tighter tolerance stack than typical target ammunition. The 2.75 hull is sized to cycle reliably in the widest range of 12 gauge competition shotguns from pump to semi-automatic actions. Exacting quality controls throughout production keep velocity and pattern performance consistent from box to box. Each box holds 25 rounds of this Star Team EVO load a practical amount for a training round or a day of registered competition. Rio positions this shell as the pinnacle of its research and development work aimed squarely at serious target shooters rather than casual plinkers. The lead shot and standard target hull construction keep recoil manageable across long strings of fire common in trap and skeet competition. Competitive shooters looking for a top-level 12 gauge target load will find the Rio Star Team EVO built to meet that standard.
