Redding Reloading Instant Indicator Headspace and Bullet Comparator Features The Redding Instant Indicator Headspace and Bullet Comparator gives 7mm PRC reloaders a direct repeatable method for checking two critical measurements case headspace and bullet seating depth relative to the rifling. Measuring headspace accurately helps reloaders identify case stretch and potential overpressure conditions before they become a safety issue. Measuring seating depth to the lands lets precision shooters fine-tune how close a bullet sits to the rifling a factor that can meaningfully affect accuracy in a tuned load. Because this version omits the dial indicator reloaders who already own a compatible 0.375 stem dial indicator get the full functionality of the tool at a lower cost. Setup consists of the base tool along with the caliber-specific insert and stem needed for the 7mm PRC cartridge ready to pair with the reloader s own dial indicator. This without-dial configuration is aimed squarely at reloaders expanding their caliber coverage who do not need to purchase a duplicate indicator for every cartridge they load. Redding has built a strong reputation in the reloading community for precision measurement tools that competitive and hunting handloaders rely on. This comparator is a smart addition to any 7mm PRC reloading setup focused on consistency and safety.
