Redding Reloading Instant Indicator Headspace and Bullet Comparator Features The Redding Instant Indicator Headspace and Bullet Comparator lets handloaders measure two of the most important dimensions in precision reloading case headspace and bullet seating depth relative to the rifling lands for the 6.5 PRC cartridge. Measuring headspace consistently helps a reloader keep fired and resized cases within a safe repeatable range which supports both reliable chambering and extended case life. Measuring bullet seating depth to the lands allows a handloader to fine-tune how close a bullet sits to the rifling a key variable in developing an accurate load. Because the tool uses interchangeable inserts and stems matched to 6.5 PRC it delivers consistent repeatable readings shot after shot. This Without Dial Indicator version includes the base tool along with its inserts and stems but does not include the dial indicator itself. It is intended for reloaders who already own a compatible dial indicator with a 0.375 stem diameter letting them pair their existing equipment with Redding s measuring tool rather than paying for a second one. This configuration is more cost-effective than the complete kit for handloaders who already have the right gauge on hand. For anyone developing precision 6.5 PRC loads the Redding Instant Indicator provides the repeatable measurements needed to dial in a consistent accurate handload.
