Redding Reloading Titanium Nitride Neck Sizing Bushing Features The Redding Titanium Nitride Neck Sizing Bushing at .309 inches is machined from heat treated steel and finished with a titanium nitride coating that increases the effective surface hardness of the bushing. This hardened low-friction surface reduces the force needed to size case necks which in turn reduces wear on both the bushing and the brass being sized. Because bushings are available in .001 inch increments across a wide diameter range handloaders can select the precise bushing size needed to achieve the exact amount of neck tension their load requires. The last three digits of the part number indicate the bushing size making it easy to identify the correct bushing for a given cartridge. Reducing sizing friction isn t just about ease of use on the press it also helps minimize excessive brass working that can shorten case life over multiple reloading cycles. Covering calibers from .17 to .338 this bushing system gives precision reloaders fine control over neck tension to hold bullets firmly in place without over-sizing the neck. This level of control is especially valuable for long-range and competition shooters who depend on consistent neck tension for predictable bullet release. For handloaders seeking tighter control over case neck dimensions this Redding titanium nitride bushing is a proven upgrade.
