Redding Reloading Instant Indicator Headspace and Bullet Comparator Features The Redding Instant Indicator Headspace and Bullet Comparator is built to give reloaders a precise repeatable method for measuring both headspace and bullet seating depth relative to the rifling lands. Measuring seating depth to the lands is a critical step for handloaders chasing optimal accuracy since cartridge overall length relative to the lands can significantly affect pressure and group size. The included precision dial indicator typically reads in 0.001 inch increments giving fine enough resolution to detect small but meaningful variations between loaded rounds. Because the dial indicator is included this version is ready to use immediately out of the box without requiring the reloader to track down a separately compatible unit. This tool is calibrated specifically for the .300 PRC cartridge ensuring the base tool inserts and stems are correctly sized for accurate reliable readings on this caliber. Having a dedicated indicator set up for a specific cartridge removes variability that can come from using generalized or improvised measuring methods. For handloaders who already shoot .300 PRC and want consistent ammunition from batch to batch this precision measuring tool is a valuable addition to the reloading bench. Available for sale at GrabAGun the Redding Instant Indicator with Dial Indicator gives .300 PRC reloaders the instrumentation needed to dial in headspace and seating depth with confidence.
