Iver Johnson Extended Choke Tube Features The Iver Johnson Extended Choke Tube is machined from steel and set to an X-Full constriction delivering the tightest practical pattern available for a 28 gauge shotgun. That extra tight constriction concentrates shot into a denser pattern at extended range which is exactly what turkey hunters and long range small game hunters need from their choke. The steel construction stands up to the wear of repeated cycling and cleaning without degrading the internal constriction geometry that controls pattern density. Because it is built to Mobil Choke style threads the tube installs directly into shotguns machined for that thread pattern without needing an adapter. The extended design lets the choke protrude slightly beyond the muzzle making it easy to grip and change by hand rather than needing a specialized wrench for every swap. That convenience matters in the field when a hunter needs to adjust their choke quickly between target types or shooting distances. An X-Full choke like this is best suited to patterned loads at extended range rather than close flushing shots so hunters should match it to the right scenario. For 28 gauge shooters who want maximum pattern density for long range turkey or small game hunting the Iver Johnson Extended Choke Tube is available for sale at GrabAGun.
