Iver Johnson Modified Choke Tube Features The Iver Johnson Modified Choke Tube is machined from stainless steel for a tough corrosion-resistant build that stands up to repeated use in wet or humid hunting conditions. Its modified constriction tightens the shot pattern compared to a cylinder or improved cylinder choke giving shooters better control at moderate ranges on upland birds and clays. The extended profile sits proud of the muzzle making it easy to grip and identify at a glance when swapping chokes between stands or stages. This visibility and grip matter most in the field where fumbling with a flush-mount choke costs time and shots. Built on Mobil choke-style threads this tube is designed as a direct fit for shotguns using that threading standard simplifying the search for a compatible upgrade. Its compact footprint keeps weight and bulk to a minimum so it does not change the balance or feel of the shotgun it is installed in. The stainless steel construction also resists the pitting and wear that can affect softer finishes over time. For 20 gauge shooters looking to dial in their pattern for a specific range or game the Iver Johnson Modified Choke Tube is a simple affordable way to do it.
