Iver Johnson Choke Tube Features The Iver Johnson Choke Tube is machined to the Improved Modified constriction tightening shot pattern more than a standard Modified choke to extend effective range for hunting and target applications. Built specifically to Mobil choke style threads this tube is a direct fit for shotguns using that thread pattern so shooters do not need to source a separate adapter. The extended profile protrudes slightly beyond the muzzle making the tube easier to grip and install or remove with a choke wrench compared to a flush fitting design. Constructed from stainless steel the tube resists the corrosion and pitting that can affect less durable chokes over years of use in the field. A properly fitted choke tube like this one plays a significant role in shot pattern density and spread directly affecting a shooter s effectiveness on upland birds waterfowl or clay targets. The Improved Modified constriction offered here splits the difference between tighter full chokes and more open options giving shooters flexibility across a range of shooting distances. Because it uses the Mobil thread pattern this choke tube is compatible with shotguns built around that system without requiring aftermarket thread cutting. For 12 gauge shooters looking to fine tune their pattern performance this Iver Johnson choke tube is available for sale at GrabAGun.
