Iver Johnson Mobil Choke Tube Features The Iver Johnson Mobil Choke Tube is machined from stainless steel giving it the corrosion resistance needed to withstand repeated exposure to the elements during hunting season. Its Full constriction produces a tighter shot pattern than more open chokes concentrating pellets for improved effectiveness at longer ranges where a dense pattern matters most. The extended design allows the choke to protrude slightly beyond the muzzle making it easier to grip and thread in or out by hand. This also helps keep fouling and powder residue away from the barrel s internal threads simplifying cleaning and maintenance. Built to the Mobil choke thread pattern this tube is compatible with shotguns using that specific threading standard so shooters should confirm their barrel s choke system before ordering. Because it is a stainless steel extended choke rather than a flush-mounted design it adds a visible functional upgrade to the muzzle that is easy to identify at a glance. Full constriction chokes like this one are popular for turkey hunting and other applications where tight long-range patterns improve the odds of a clean shot. For 12 gauge shotgun owners running the Mobil choke system the Iver Johnson Full Choke Tube is available for sale at GrabAGun.
