Iver Johnson Flush Choke Tube Features The Iver Johnson Improved Modified Choke Tube is machined in 28 gauge steel with an improved modified constriction positioning it between modified and full for a versatile all around pattern. That constriction level works well on longer crossing clay targets and upland birds flushing at moderate range where a tighter pattern than skeet or improved cylinder helps connect more consistently. The flush fit profile keeps the tube from extending past the muzzle preserving the shotgun s balance and factory profile. Threaded to the Mobil choke pattern the tube drops directly into compatible 28 gauge shotguns. Steel construction gives the choke tube the durability needed to handle repeated firing cycles without excess wear on the threads. A flush design also avoids snagging on brush or gear during upland hunts unlike an extended choke that protrudes from the barrel. Having a selection of choke constrictions on hand lets a shooter tailor pattern density to the specific bird or clay presentation of the day. For 28 gauge shooters looking to round out their choke selection this improved modified tube is a practical option.
