Forster Products Ultra Micrometer Seater Die Features The Forster Ultra Micrometer Seater Die for 6.5 PRC is machined from premium steel to tight tolerances and hand polished before and after heat treating giving the die a fine interior finish that protects bullets and brass during seating. The micrometer adjustment allows the reloader to set bullet seating depth in increments as small as .0005 to .001 inch a level of control that matters when tuning loads to the lands of a specific rifle s rifling. Because the micrometer setting can be recorded switching between bullet types and returning to a previous depth is as simple as dialing back to the noted number. A free floating self centering seating stem keeps the bullet aligned with the case mouth throughout the stroke for concentric consistent seating. The die includes Forster s Cross Bolt Die Locking Ring which tightens the two ends of a split ring rather than threading a screw directly into the die body preserving the die s threads and keeping its setting stable over repeated use. This combination of micrometer precision and secure locking makes the die well suited to competitive and long range shooters who demand repeatable ammunition. Built specifically for the 6.5 PRC cartridge the die integrates easily into an existing reloading press setup. For handloaders chasing fine tuned accuracy from their 6.5 PRC rifle the Forster Ultra Micrometer Seater Die is a precision tool worth adding to the bench.
