Forster Products Bench Rest Seater Die Features The Forster Bench Rest Seater Die s sliding die chamber holds the case the bullet and the seating stem all in perfect alignment during the seating stroke a design Forster originally patented decades ago and has continued to refine ever since. Because the chamber supports the entire outside diameter of the sized case rather than just the neck the die produces consistently straight co-axial ammunition shot after shot. The hand polished bullet seating stem provides a smooth repeatable seating surface and Forster has continued updating stem profiles to fit modern ballistic tips and very low drag bullet designs. Forster s Cross Bolt Die Locking Ring tightens the two ends of a split ring rather than threading a screw directly into the die body protecting the die s threads over years of use. Every Forster die is manufactured from quality steel carefully machined to tight tolerances and hand polished both before and after heat treating to guarantee a fine finish inside the die body. The non-crimping design of the Bench Rest Seater is built purely for accuracy and consistency rather than case mouth crimping leaving crimping to a separate step when needed. This seater die adapts to most standard reloading presses making it a straightforward addition to an existing reloading bench. For handloaders chasing tighter groups with 8.6 Blackout this Forster Bench Rest Seater Die delivers the straight-line seating precision the cartridge deserves.
