Forster Products Full Length Sizing Die Features The Forster Full Length Sizing Die for 8.6 Blackout handles the neck body and shoulder of the case in one pass setting proper headspace while depriming and expanding the neck for the next loaded round. Full length sizers are typically the first die a reloader adds to a bench rest collection because of the flexibility they offer across a range of loading needs. Each die is machined from the finest quality steel and held to very tight tolerances so the sizing operation stays consistent round after round. Hand polishing both before and after the heat treating process gives the die an extra fine finish that protects brass as it passes through. The die s elevated E-Z Out Expander button is positioned higher in the neck area than most other designs providing support that holds the case neck and body in alignment as the case is withdrawn from the die. That alignment keeps case necks concentric during the expanding operation which translates directly into more consistent bullet seating and better accuracy downrange. A Forster Cross Bolt Die Locking Ring tightens the two ends of a split ring rather than driving a screw into the die s own threads protecting the die body from damage over repeated adjustments. Built from steel and sized specifically for the 8.6 Blackout cartridge this Forster die is a precision tool for reloaders who demand consistency from every case they run.
