Berry s Manufacturing Superior Plated Features The Berry s Superior Plated bullet begins life as a swaged lead core formed under high pressure to achieve uniform density that contributes directly to consistent flight stability once loaded and fired. The core then goes through electroplating where it is dipped in a copper sulfate solution with an electric current applied depositing a layer of copper that fully covers the lead core and leaves no lead exposed. That copper plating serves two purposes at once protecting the lead underneath while also reducing barrel fouling and improving overall bullet performance compared to bare lead projectiles. The flat point profile on this 115 grain 9mm bullet is specifically chosen to make seating to the correct overall length easier and to improve feeding reliability across a range of semi-automatic pistols. After plating each bullet is re-struck through a die to meet precise specifications for overall length and diameter a step that reinforces the bond between the copper layer and the lead core while smoothing out any imperfections from the electroplating process. Every bullet then goes through thorough quality inspection before packaging part of Berry s broader commitment to consistent accuracy and reliability round after round. Manufactured in-house at Berry s facility in St. George Utah these bullets carry the Made in USA quality reloaders have come to expect from the brand.
