Berger Bullets Hybrid Target Features The Berger Hybrid Target bullet blends tangent and secant ogive curves into a single Hybrid profile giving reloaders a sweet spot between seating depth tuning flexibility and ballistic efficiency. The tangent portion near the bearing surface eases seating adjustments while the secant front delivers superior wind performance and velocity retention downrange. A G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.607 and G7 of 0.311 paired with a 0.923 G7 form factor give this 140 grain bullet exceptional long range efficiency compared to standard match projectiles. The boat tail base further improves aerodynamic stability keeping shots tight even as the bullet passes through the transonic zone past 600 yards. Each bullet is built with Berger s J4 Precision Target Jacket manufactured to within 0.0003 inch concentricity to ensure consistent bullet flight and muzzle exit alignment. This precision manufacturing reduces the variables that can open up groups at distance a critical factor for competitive shooters dialing in load development. The Hybrid design s tuning tolerance makes it forgiving of slight seating depth variation useful for shooters working across multiple 6.5mm cartridges including 6.5 Creedmoor 6.5 PRC and 6.5x47 Lapua. Performing best with a 1:8 inch twist rate or faster this 500 count box gives dedicated reloaders ample supply for load development and competition use.
