Product Description
Berger Bullets Hybrid Target Features The Berger Hybrid Target bullet uses a hybrid ogive that transitions from a tangent shape near the bearing surface into a secant shape further forward combining the best traits of both designs. The tangent portion makes the bullet noticeably less sensitive to seating depth giving handloaders more margin for error when developing a load. The secant portion the same shape used on Berger s VLD bullets is highly efficient in the wind helping the bullet resist drift at extended ranges. This combination of shapes was developed in partnership between Berger s bullet makers and Chief Ballistician Bryan Litz to optimize performance for serious long range shooters. Built with J4 Precision Jackets these bullets are manufactured to exacting tolerances and near perfect construction consistent with all Berger bullets. The 200.20x was developed with the assistance of the U.S. Rifle Team and served as the official bullet for team use during the 2017 F-Class World Championships a track record that speaks to its accuracy pedigree. As reloading components these are sold strictly for handloading and are not finished ammunition. Competition shooters and long range hunters loading .30 caliber rifles will find this Hybrid Target bullet a proven choice for extracting maximum accuracy from their rifle.
