Arken Optics SH-4J Features The Arken SH-4J is built around Japanese ED glass standard across the SH-4J line delivering reduced chromatic aberration and a crisp clear image even at the top end of its 6-24x magnification range. The VPR reticle sits in the first focal plane meaning its MIL grid subtensions for ranging wind holds and lead calculations stay accurate at every magnification from 6x through 24x rather than only at one setting. A red illuminated center point gives shooters a fast aiming reference in low light conditions and the reticle s cross-unit configuration lets users convert between MIL and MOA for dialing adjustments as needed. The scope requires a widely available CR2032 battery for illumination though it is not included with purchase. Arken s Zero Stop system provides a positive toolless elevation stop that lets shooters return to a true zero after dialing for distance a critical feature for anyone ranging multiple targets in a single session. The turrets deliver 108 MOA of elevation travel and 34 MOA of windage travel with 1/4 MOA audible and tactile clicks and 20 MOA per revolution for fast countable adjustments. A 34mm main tube requires 34mm rings or a one-piece mount and that larger tube diameter provides the internal travel needed to support the scope s extensive elevation range. Finished in matte black and weighing 36.6 ounces with an included sunshade the SH-4J is built for precision rifle shooters who demand repeatable long-range performance.
