Arken Optics EP-5 Gen2 Features The Arken EP-5 Gen2 pairs MRAD turrets with an MRAD reticle so there is no mental conversion needed between holdover and dial up corrections in the field. The Variable Precision Reticle offers a 12 MIL holdover grid with 0.25 MIL subtensions and a floating center between 0.04 and 0.08 MIL giving precise holds wind calls and fast follow up corrections. Because the reticle sits on the first focal plane those subtensions remain accurate whether the shooter is dialed to 7x or all the way to 35x. ED Japanese glass is used throughout to maximize resolution and contrast which matters most at the top of the zoom range where lesser glass loses clarity. ARKEN ZERO STOP turrets provide a positive mechanical stop after multiple full rotations so the shooter can dial up for elevation and return to a confirmed zero without counting clicks. Total internal travel reaches 32 MRAD of elevation and 16 MRAD of windage giving enough adjustment range for extended long range and ELR work. Side parallax adjustment runs from 25 yards to infinity supporting both rimfire precision work and centerfire long range shooting with the same scope. Rated for .50 BMG recoil sealed to IP67 waterproof and dustproof standards and nitrogen purged against fogging the Arken EP-5 Gen2 is a rugged 34mm optic available for sale at GrabAGun.
