Aguila Colibri Features Aguila Colibri Rimfire Ammunition in .22 LR is loaded to a notably low velocity of around 420 feet per second far below standard velocity .22 LR loads. This reduced velocity dramatically cuts down on report making the Colibri one of the quietest commercially available .22 LR rounds without the need for a suppressor. The 20 grain lead solid bullet is simple in construction relying on its weight and shape rather than expansion for effect on small targets or pests. Because of its reduced report this load is a popular choice for backyard practice small game and pest control in noise sensitive areas and introducing new shooters to firearms without the loud report of standard ammunition. The round ships as a bulk 1000 round case giving high volume shooters a cost effective way to stock up on this specialty load. Each case is broken down into manageable boxes for easy transport and use at the range. For shooters who value a quiet low recoil .22 LR option this Aguila Colibri case lot is available for sale at GrabAGun.
