Aguila Varmint Features Aguila Varmint .17 HMR ammunition drives a 20 grain jacketed hollow point bullet designed to expand dramatically on impact much like a big game bullet scaled down for varmint sized targets. That expansion delivers heavy knockdown power helping ensure quick humane results on small game and nuisance animals. At a muzzle velocity of 1785 fps and 332 ft lbs of energy the load carries enough speed and punch for effective varmint hunting at practical ranges. Aguila builds this round specifically for rimfire platforms matching performance expectations to the .17 HMR cartridge s capabilities. Each round uses a brass case to maintain reliable extraction and consistent chamber pressures across a range session. The 50 round box makes it convenient to stock up for an afternoon of varmint control or extended target practice. This load s combination of velocity and bullet design makes it equally suited to range work and small game application in the field. This Aguila Varmint .17 HMR JHP ammunition is available for sale at GrabAGun for varmint hunters and rimfire enthusiasts.
