Aguila Rifle Ammunition Features The Aguila Rata Pest Control load is built around a 20 grain standard velocity solid point bullet that leaves the muzzle at roughly 1000 feet per second generating 179 foot pounds of energy for reliable results on pests at close range. That velocity and energy combination gives the round enough authority to handle rats snakes and other small nuisance animals without over penetrating in close quarters. Because it is chambered in the widely available 22 LR the Rata load runs through any standard 22 LR rifle or pistol already on hand. The brass cased construction feeds reliably through semi-auto and bolt action rimfire guns alike. Each box ships with 20 rounds a practical count for routine pest control tasks around a property without the bulk of a full case. Aguila positions the Rata load as a quieter more controllable option than a BB or pellet gun for shooters who want rimfire reliability at close range. The solid point bullet design helps deliver consistent performance shot after shot making it a dependable choice for property owners and farmers dealing with recurring pest problems. The Aguila Rata Pest Control round is available for sale at GrabAGun for anyone who needs a dedicated close range pest control load.
