Taurus TX22 T.O.R.O. Features The Taurus TX22 T.O.R.O. is chambered in .22 LR and built around the Taurus Performance Trigger System giving shooters unmatched control and comfort for rapid accurate follow-up shots. The slide is optic ready and uses the Shield RMSc footprint meaning it accepts a wide range of popular micro red dots without an adapter plate. A 4.6 threaded barrel with a 1:10 RH twist allows the pistol to run a suppressor for quieter range sessions or training days while still cycling reliably with standard velocity .22 LR loads. The black hard coat anodized aluminum slide is both lightweight and durable standing up to repeated cycling without excessive wear and the threaded muzzle means shooters do not have to swap barrels to add a suppressor or compensator down the line. The cyan polymer frame includes an integrated Picatinny rail for mounting a weapon light or laser along with a textured grip for a secure hold during rapid fire and extended range sessions. Fixed white dot front and drift adjustable rear sights offer a dependable iron sight option alongside the optic cut so the pistol stays usable even if a red dot is removed or runs out of battery. Shipping with two 10-round magazines the pistol is ready to run right out of the box for competition training or casual plinking without an immediate need for spare mags. At 17.3 oz unloaded the Taurus TX22 T.O.R.O. is light enough for all-day range use while still carrying enough heft up front to keep the sights settled between shots. The combination of an optics ready slide a threaded barrel and a tuned trigger makes the Taurus TX22 T.O.R.O. a natural fit for shooters moving into red dot equipped pistols without the cost of centerfire ammunition. The cyan finish sets it apart visually while the Picatinny rail and RMSc footprint keep it compatible with the same lights lasers and optics used on many duty and competition pistols. Whether the goal is building trigger control practicing optic transitions or simply enjoying an affordable day at the range the TX22 T.O.R.O. covers the basics a shooter needs to improve.
