Taurus PT92 Features The Taurus PT92 is built around a drop hammer forged ordnance-grade alloy steel frame that has defined the 92 pattern s reputation for durability over decades of service. Its three-position frame-mounted ambidextrous safety is more secure against accidental manipulation than a slide-mounted design letting shooters carry cocked and locked while retaining a fully functioning double-action decocking lever. The 5 inch barrel gives the double/single action trigger system a longer sight radius aiding precision at the range or on the line. Fixed sights keep the pistol simple and snag-free for holster use day in and day out. Rubber grips wrap the alloy frame for a secure comfortable hold across extended range sessions and the Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish resists wear while giving the pistol a distinct modern look. The pistol ships generously equipped with four 18-round and two 17-round magazines giving shooters a deep reserve of ammunition without needing to buy spares separately. That magazine count makes the PT92 a strong choice for training days competition or home defense where reload speed and ammunition supply matter. The combination of a steel frame proven DA/SA operation and a full magazine kit makes this PT92 ready to run right out of the box.
