Sterling Shotgun Ammunition Features The Sterling Exclusive Series shotshell is built around a quick scattering wad that promotes maximum ignition as the shell fires helping the number 5 shot leave the barrel with a consistent even pattern. This design works especially well on fast-flushing upland birds like francolin and snipe where a wide even pattern increases the odds of a clean hit. The 1-1/6 ounce shot payload offers enough density for effective range on small and medium game birds without overloading the shell. A soft pellet construction further supports pattern consistency by reducing pellet deformation as the shot travels down the barrel. Low recoil and soft shooting characteristics make this load comfortable to shoot across repeated flushes during a long walk through the field. Hunters moving across mountainous terrain in pursuit of francolin and snipe benefit from shells that do not wear down the shoulder over a full day afield. Chambered for standard 12 gauge 2.75 inch shotguns the load works in nearly any pump or semi-automatic shotgun suited to upland hunting. Packaged 25 rounds per box the Sterling Exclusive Series gives upland hunters a dependable low recoil option for fast-moving game.
