Sterling Exclusive Series Features The Sterling Exclusive Series shotshell is loaded in 12 gauge with a 2.75-inch hull a versatile length compatible with the vast majority of pump and semi-automatic shotguns. Its 1-1/6 ounce payload of #8 shot produces a dense pattern suited to smaller fast-flushing birds where multiple pellet strikes matter more than a single large projectile. This shot size and payload combination is specifically suited for francolin and snipe hunting where birds are typically encountered at closer ranges during long walks through varied terrain. Consistent shell-to-shell performance helps hunters trust their pattern when a second shot opportunity appears quickly. Packaged in boxes of 25 this load gives upland hunters enough rounds for a full day in the field without needing to restock mid-hunt. The 2.75-inch hull length keeps recoil manageable across repeated shots an important consideration during long walking hunts that demand quick repeated shouldering of the gun. Sterling s Exclusive Series is built to deliver dependable ignition and consistent patterns shot after shot in the field. For hunters targeting francolin snipe and similar upland game this load offers a dependable purpose-matched option for the terrain and quarry.
