Savage Stevens 334 Features The Savage Arms Stevens 334 pairs a free-floating button rifled carbon steel barrel with a matte black carbon steel receiver giving shooters consistent accuracy shot after shot in a value-priced .223 Rem rifle. A 60 degree bolt lift with three locking lugs speeds up cycling for faster follow-up shots an advantage for hunters and target shooters alike who need quick repeat hits. The 20 inch barrel carries an 11 degree target crown that protects the muzzle s rifling and helps preserve accuracy over the rifle s life backed by a 1 in 9 inch twist rate suited to common .223 Rem bullet weights. A crisp light trigger breaks cleanly giving the shooter confidence in exactly when the rifle will fire. A steel MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail sits atop the receiver giving shooters a ready mounting surface for a scope without needing separate bases. The three round detachable box magazine feeds smoothly and drops free for fast reloads in the field or at the bench. An ergonomic stock and recoil pad combine with two sling swivel studs to make the rifle comfortable to carry and shoot across a long day while a three position safety gives the shooter precise control over the rifle s readiness. Finished in genuine Turkish walnut over a matte black action the Savage Arms Stevens 334 is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters and shooters who want classic style paired with dependable accurate performance.
