Savage Impulse UltraLite Pro Features The Savage Arms Impulse UltraLite Pro runs on the straight-pull Impulse action letting hunters cycle a fresh round with a simple push-pull motion rather than rotating the bolt which keeps the rifle steadier on target between shots. A carbon fiber and stainless steel barrel construction trims weight substantially compared to a traditional steel barrel making the rifle far easier to carry across long stalks at elevation. The carbon steel receiver is drilled and tapped giving hunters a ready mounting surface for a long-range capable optic matched to the 6.5 PRC cartridge. A user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets shooters dial in a clean break between 1.5 and 4 pounds for confident shot placement on game. The Savage Woodland Camo finish on the AccuStock with AccuFit V2 blends into timbered terrain while offering length of pull and comb height adjustments for a consistent cheek weld shot after shot. Built in a full-size configuration the stock accommodates a wide range of shooters comfortably across extended hunts. The detachable 3-round box magazine allows quick safe reloading or unloading when moving between stands or glassing positions. At 7.7 pounds the rifle strikes a balance between portability for the pack and the stability needed for precise long-range shots in 6.5 PRC.
