Proof Research Sendero Carbon Fiber Pre-Fit Barrel Features The Proof Research Sendero carbon fiber barrel is machined as a pre-fit barrel specifically for the Zermatt Origin action allowing a drop-in installation without the custom chambering and fitting work a blank barrel would require. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 1:7.5 twist and five grooves the barrel is cut to stabilize the heavier higher ballistic coefficient bullets long-range shooters favor in this cartridge. A 5/8x24 thread pattern at the muzzle accepts a suppressor or muzzle brake giving the shooter flexibility in how the rifle is configured for different shooting applications. The Sendero contour balances weight and rigidity a profile PROOF has refined across its carbon fiber barrel lineup for precision rifle use. Built from PROOF s signature carbon fiber over a steel liner the barrel delivers the stiffness-to-weight advantage carbon fiber barrels are known for reducing the overall weight of a precision rifle build without sacrificing accuracy potential. Because the barrel is a pre-fit specifically for the Zermatt Origin Origin owners can upgrade their rifle s barrel with significantly less labor and cost than a traditional blank-and-fit barrel swap. At 18 inches in length the barrel suits long-range precision shooting while keeping the rifle maneuverable compared to longer barrel options. The Proof Research Sendero pre-fit barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor is for sale at GrabAGun for Zermatt Origin owners who want a lightweight premium carbon fiber upgrade.
