Thompson Center Bore Brush/Swab Features The Thompson Center Bore Brush and Swab Set is built around a bronze bore brush designed specifically to scrub out the lead and plastic deposits that accumulate in a muzzleloader bore after repeated shots. Bronze bristles are stiff enough to break up fouling without damaging the rifling keeping the bore in good condition over a long hunting or shooting season. Because the brush uses standard 10x32 threading it attaches directly to most ramrods already in a shooter s cleaning kit without the need for an adapter. That compatibility makes it easy to add this brush to an existing cleaning routine for any .50 caliber muzzleloader. The set also includes a cotton bore swab that is 100 percent cotton soft yet durable and built to apply oil to the bore or to work in Natural Lube 1000 Plus Bore Butter as a seasoning agent. Seasoning the bore after cleaning helps protect the steel from corrosion between range trips or hunts. Like the brush the swab uses the same 10x32 threading for compatibility with standard ramrods. Together this bronze brush and cotton swab combination gives .50 caliber muzzleloader owners the two tools needed to clean and protect their barrel after use.
