Thompson Center Extended Super Jag Features The Thompson Center Extended Super Jag features a rotating knurled head engineered to maximize contact between the cleaning patch and the bore surface. This design ensures thorough removal of fouling across the full diameter of a .50 caliber barrel. A long stepped shank extends the cleaning surface while helping prevent patches from binding partway through the stroke. Brass construction makes this jag extremely durable and resistant to corrosion so it holds up to repeated cleaning sessions over many years of use. Its concave tip is purpose built to prevent distortion of ballistic or polymer tipped bullets during the loading process protecting the accuracy enhancing design of modern muzzleloader projectiles. Fitting standard 10-32 threaded ramrods this jag adds 3.75 inches of reach which is essential for properly cleaning Encore 209 Magnum and Omega muzzleloaders. Thompson Center designed this jag as an essential accessory for anyone maintaining these specific muzzleloader platforms. The Extended Super Jag is a durable purpose built tool that keeps a muzzleloader s bore clean and ready for the next shot.
