Thompson Center Bore Brush/Swab Features The Thompson Center Bore Brush and Swab set pairs a bronze bore brush with a 100 percent cotton bore swab covering both scrubbing and oiling duties in a single package. The cotton swab is soft yet durable designed to apply oil or a bore seasoning agent like Natural Lube 1000 Plus Bore Butter evenly across the bore surface. Regular seasoning and oiling of a muzzleloader bore helps prevent rust and keeps the barrel performing consistently between range sessions and hunts. The bronze brush handles the heavier scrubbing work needed to clear fouling left behind by black powder or blackpowder substitute loads. Standard 10-32 threading on both pieces ensures compatibility with most ramrods already in a shooter s cleaning kit so there is no need to source a specialized adapter. This set is sized specifically for .45 caliber rifle barrels matching the bore diameter for an effective clean without excess slop. Keeping a dedicated brush and swab on hand simplifies the post-range cleaning routine and helps extend the life of the barrel. For .45 caliber muzzleloader owners the Thompson Center Bore Brush/Swab is a simple reliable addition to any cleaning kit.
