Thompson Center Extended Super Jag Features The Thompson Center Arms Extended Super Jag is machined from solid brass a material that resists corrosion and holds up to repeated use without wearing down over seasons of cleaning. Its rotating knurled head is designed to maximize contact between the cleaning patch and the bore surface helping lift fouling more thoroughly than a plain jag. A long stepped shank extends the cleaning surface while specifically preventing patches from binding partway down the rod a common frustration with shorter jags. The concave tip is a deliberate design choice that keeps ballistic and polymer tipped bullets from being distorted when the jag is used during loading. Built with a 10-32 thread to fit standard muzzleloading ramrods this jag adds 3.75 inches of additional reach which Thompson Center notes is essential for properly cleaning the Encore Triumph and Omega lines of muzzleloaders. The extra length ensures the jag and patch can reach all the way to the chamber area on these longer actions. At 4 inches long it remains compact enough to store in a range bag or cleaning kit without taking up much space. This brass Extended Super Jag is for sale at GrabAGun for Encore Triumph and Omega muzzleloader owners who want a dependable bore cleaning tool.
