Thermacell Multi-Insect Features The Thermacell Multi-Insect repellent refill uses the active ingredient Prallethrin to create an effective barrier against mosquitoes black flies and no-see-ums pests that can quickly ruin an otherwise enjoyable outdoor session. The mat and fuel cartridge dispensing system builds a 15 foot zone of mosquito protection and a 10 foot zone against black flies and no-see-ums covering enough area for a hunting blind campsite or backyard gathering. Each refill is rated effective for up to 24 hours of continuous use giving long lasting coverage across a full day or evening outdoors. Independently tested and EPA reviewed for both safety and effectiveness this repellent system offers a scent free alternative to sprays and lotions applied directly to skin. The refill kit includes two 12 hour fuel cartridges and six 4 hour repellent mats giving users enough supply for multiple outings before needing to restock. Because the system produces no smoke or open flame it is well suited for use in tents blinds or other enclosed outdoor spaces where open flame devices are impractical. These refills are compatible with all fuel powered Thermacell repellers except the Backpacker model making them a versatile restock option for most existing units.
