Product Description
Speer TMJ Features The Speer TMJ bullet uses Uni-Cor technology to pour molten lead directly into the jacket completely encasing the lead core in a seamless copper jacket unlike conventional full metal jacket bullets that leave lead exposed at the base. This construction is cleaner more accurate and more consistent than standard FMJ designs and it means the bullet base will not deform under the pressure of firing. Because no lead is exposed these bullets will not foul ported recoil compensators a real advantage for competitive shooters running compensated handguns. Swaged twice during manufacturing each bullet maintains a uniform heel and absolutely consistent diameter shot to shot. At .500 inches in diameter and 300 grains this TMJ bullet is sized for large-bore handgun cartridges and delivers dependable accuracy for target shooting applications. A .157 ballistic coefficient and .171 sectional density reflect a bullet optimized for controlled predictable performance rather than long-range ballistics. Packaged 50 to a box these are reloading components only and are not sold as loaded ammunition. Handloaders looking for a clean-shooting compensator-friendly bullet for range and competition use will find the TMJ line dependable and consistent.
