Shooters Choice Gun Rod Cleaning Kit Features The Shooters Choice Gun Rod Cleaning Kit centers on an aluminum cleaning rod with a female 8/32 threaded end and a swivel T-handle letting the handle rotate independently of the rod as it travels down the bore. This swivel action keeps the attached brush or mop spinning with the rifling rather than fighting it which protects the bore from uneven wear during repeated cleaning sessions. The 8-32 thread pattern accepts the included 2 inch .40 cal bronze phosphor bore brush 2 inch cotton bore mop pierce point jag and slotted tip so the shooter can move from scrubbing to swabbing to patching without changing tools. Nine pieces total ship together giving a .40 Cal or 10mm pistol owner a complete system rather than a partial kit that needs supplementing. Twenty 2.5 by 2.5 inch 100 percent cotton cleaning patches handle the final wipe down passes and the separate nylon all purpose brush tackles frame and action debris that the bore tools are not meant to reach. A 0.5 fl oz bottle of FP-10 Lubricant Elite CLP is included so the pistol can be cleaned lubricated and protected from corrosion in a single session without reaching for a second product. The plastic clamshell case keeps every component organized and protected between range trips which matters for anyone who stores cleaning gear alongside other range bag items. This kit suits pistol owners who want a dedicated .40 Cal and 10mm cleaning solution they can rely on for routine maintenance at home or at the range.
