Shooters Choice Cleaning Kit Features The Shooters Choice .17 Caliber Rifle Cleaning Kit is built around an aluminum rod set fitted with a swivel T-handle allowing smooth consistent strokes through the bore without twisting the attached brush or jag. A dedicated brush mop jag and slotted tip are included each sized specifically for .17 caliber bores to avoid the damage that an ill fitting tool can cause. A bore guide helps center the rod as it passes through the action protecting the crown and chamber from accidental contact during cleaning. Patches sized for the caliber complete the mechanical cleaning components in this kit. Beyond the mechanical tools the kit includes an all purpose brush along with a bottle of FP-10 Lubricant Elite CLP a cleaner lubricant and protectant combined in one product. This CLP formula helps remove fouling while leaving behind a protective layer that keeps moving parts lubricated between cleanings. Having both the mechanical tools and the chemical treatment in a single kit simplifies maintenance for .17 caliber rifle owners who want a complete solution without assembling separate components. This kit is a practical choice for shooters wanting quality cleaning gear matched specifically to their rifle s bore diameter.
